Brooklyn, NY — A meaningful and riveting echo in the Hip Hop music scene, “No Attachments” by Original BlackIce is a noteworthy musical composition. When composing the single, the eclectic artist did not have a purpose or intention of craft an influential track, but his purpose-driven songwriting has borne great rewards.
Reflecting upon the troubling and tumultuous nature of society today, marred with crime and injustice, Original BlackIce decided to step aside from gangster rap or hardcore street style Hip Hop. With an aim to do something different, the artist decided to put some positivity in his creative outlook.
Original BlackIce remains moved by a love for making music, critically thinking, and creating concepts that inspire and motivate audiences. He hopes to create music that portrays his individuality and displays his passion for the art but is also driven by a theme or idea- just as his brilliant new single “No Attachments.”
“I believe that people should help people and walk with an open mind. My religion is being free, absorbing the wisdom and continuously learning about the world. The universe is my religion because I don't have one,” says Original BlackIce.
With his latest release, Original BlackIce hopes to continually inspire and motivate people, while also learning about the world and expanding the breadth of his knowledge. He hopes that his music will continue in rotation around the world, and other galaxies influencing people of the future.

ABOUT
The Original BlackIce is a Hip Hop artist with a vision. His interest in pursuing Hip Hop began after listening to music and dancing at the age of 8 years old, as well as performing with his family members at local community events and talent shows, which inspired him to take his talent further.
Original BlackIce also gained his inspiration from his childhood neighborhood, raised in the Queensbridge Housing. The artist went to school at Graphics, where he was in the company of Smith & Wesson, Maxwell, Sticky Fingers, and other contemporaries. Surrounded by numerous local artists who went on to become successful and established within the industry such as: Roxanne Shante, Marley Marl, Nas, Mobb Deep, and Cormega, the artist was catalyzed to pursue his own talents. He began creating, writing, molding, and establishing music that fully represented his own vibe. The artist continues his mission today celebrating new music, perfecting his craft, and introducing the world to his new clothing line, now merging onto the footwear industry.
Original BlackIce worked at Arista records and Interscope records, and holds a Business Science degree which advanced his marketing skills.
